Jung Hee-wan (Kim Min-ha) lives as a recluse, shut off from the world. Her childhood first love Kim Ram-woo (Gong Myung) appears — now a grim reaper — to deliver the news that she has exactly one week to live. He appears to her first near Naksan Park.

Hee-wan begins to open up — to Ram-woo, and to herself. The Cheonggyecheon Stream at night, with its soft lighting reflected in the water, frames their most intimate conversation.

Hee-wan tells Ram-woo she does not want to die. It is the first time she has said it out loud. Naksan Park at the golden hour of late afternoon.
